Maui Beach Hotel

Besides the fact that the room and location was perfect (no notes), I'd like to give thanks to receptionists Tiana and Mateo. Tiana went out of her way to help with a difficult situation and made sure my sister was comfortable and truly taken care of. Her empathy knows no bounds. And when I was accidentally charged twice, Mateo took charge and handled it in a professional, kind manner. Fantastic employees and fantastic hotel. Will absolutely be coming back.

Their kindness and attentiveness made our stay smooth and enjoyable and truly made our Maui trip better overall. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Competitive pricing. Confortable rooms. Parking and wifi extra charge. Meals extra charge. Easy access, but exiting can only turn right onto highway, and next stoplight doesn't allow U turns so if you're going anywhere in the direction of the airport it's a bit of a pain.

Definitely not luxurious. The rooms are small. The cleaners needs to be told multiple times to clean the room. When you call the room service, you need to call them twice. The guy who drives the van to the airport is AMAZING! In all the experience was a 6.5/10 especially if you get the room on a deal or promotion.

Stayed here early January 2026. Flight was cancelled and we were put up here for the night by the airline. Had no idea how awful it would be. Our room was old and so musty smelling we could hardly sleep. Lamps were rusted out…thank God we didn’t see any cockroaches like I have read on other reviews or we would have just left. Would rather have slept at the airport. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone!! Just awful…couldn’t get out of there fast enough the next morning!! We had been at the Fairmont Kea Lani for a week and then here ….enough said! Had we known we would have gladly paid for another night at the FKL instead of staying at this crap hole!

An older hotel, but well maintained. The lobby area was an open air breeze, cool mornings with plesant afternoon/evenings. A really friendly staff that helped us with parking for motorcycles. Again, very helpful and friendly staff with clean rooms.

Spent the whole day here prior to my evening flight back to the mainland. Day room from 10am to 6pm for about $200+. If you have visited Hawaii, you know most flights to the mainland leaves in the evenings and hotel check out is usually at 10 or 11 am. So what to do? You can request for a late check out, but that usually just extends your stay for 2-3 extra hours and is not always available. You can continue exploring and enjoying the sites and sounds of Hawaii, stay in the airport. Do what I did and book a daytime pass. This hotel has a pool, a small one. It also has beach access. Main thing is to have a place to rest and freshen up before your 5+ hours flight in that in-between time from hotel check out to plane check in.

Shuttle bus service was slow. They let phone ring and ring and ring. Luckily I had supervisors number and she got hold of them and called me back and said they would be there in 10 min. 45 min later they showed up. We were cold and wet from waiting out side under a shelter but it was very windy and rainy. The driver was a large man and we asked of he would turn off the air conditioner. He did. Then he opened the windows. Ugh I have no complaints about the hotel and would stay there again.
